2024 – 2025 CELEBRATING IMPACT

In the last financial year, the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation community have celebrated a record-breaking year of impact with more than $5.4m contributed to enhancing clinical care, improving the patient experience, directly supporting hospital families in need, and expanding improved treatments and cure through medical research.

Medical Research

Since launching in 2023, the Bloom Research Program has committed more than $10 million to 9 Research Projects.

Family Support

Helped 160 families experiencing financial hardship through our Family Support Programs.

Vital Equipment

Provided vital equipment and services to over 139,000 patients who relied on the Hospital.

The Beach House

Over 40 families created precious memories at our Laklinyeri Beach House.

Music for Wellness

Reduced stress and created calmer spaces for families through over 140 Music for Wellness sessions.

Cocoon Program

Over 130 babies in, or at risk of entering, foster care referred to our Cocoon Program since its inception.

A helping hand for Allied Health

The Allied Health Hand Therapy clinics at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital (WCH) provide a comprehensive service to paediatric patients of all ages. A common practice during these clinics is fitting a splint for patients, and we have purchased some new equipment to assist with this.
